In the 12th match minute, Grammene was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Christoff Cools to maneuver through the defense. Christoff Cools hit a great freekick 13 minutes into the match. 15 minutes into the match, Grammene's goal looked a bit too open when Thobias Degryse came free, but Bastian Nys reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Gregorie Calstermans struck a weak shot in the 18th minute. Bastian Nys didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for KFC Graux. Bastian Nys made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gregorie Calstermans in the 19th minute of play. Emile Kerstenss short, quick shot in the 21stth minute got Bastian Nys to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. After 22 played minutes Grammene got a freekick which was hit by Alaba Gentenaar. Bastian Nys showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Thobias Degryse in the 27th minute of the match. From close distance Emile Kerstens pressed in the 1-1 goal high up into nets stiches in the right cross 29 minutes into the game. The audience thought a goal was coming when Jeremey Raaymakers got free with Bastian Nys in the 32nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Birger De Ceijser had several of the Grammene's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 36 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 2-1 score and a disappointed Bastian Nys as he didn't even see the shot coming. Bastian Nys took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Birger De Ceijser, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 40 minutes had been played when some careless play by Grammene's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Gregorie Calstermans was slow to take the kick. During this time KFC Graux's players had a chance to rest. Thobias Degryse fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 41st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bastian Nys having to interfere. If Thobias Degryse had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 48th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 3-1 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Christoff Cools made a kick off. Bastian Nys showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Emile Kerstens, who was totally free with the ball in the 54th minute. Bastian Nys showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Thobias Degryse in the 55th minute of the match. After 56th play minutes Gregorie Calstermans shot 4-1, a short shot which went by Bastian Nys and just under the crossbar into goal. Emile Kerstens sent away a hard shot on goal in the 61st minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. KFC Graux's Emile Kerstens got a good chance for a goal in the 67th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 68 minutes into the game, Michiel Stuijckens was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Grammene's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave KFC Graux the free kick. After a rather tough play, Grammene's Michiel Stuijckens got a free kick in the 68th minute. Bastian Nys showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Emile Kerstens, who was totally free with the ball in the 70th minute. In the 95th minute Gregorie Calstermans shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bastian Nys saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Grammene's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
