In the 14th minute, Jochen Loremans made a precise shot to the right of Octaaf De Ridder. FC Baki Baki's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. In the 17th minute, FC Baki Baki's Oscar Van Den Bosche ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Wesley Kindermans. Wesley Kindermans yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-1. Nerazzurri's Wesley Kindermans proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 21st minute of the match, managed to save Nerazzurri from getting a goal against them. Octaaf De Ridder showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jochen Loremans in the 23rd minute of the match. Mathis Caspers was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 42 minutes into the match. After 41 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for FC Baki Baki! 47 minutes into the match, Nerazzurri's goal looked a bit too open when Alain Jannes came free, but Wesley Kindermans reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After the first half Nerazzurri were leading 1-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The wind increased when Jochen Loremans made the kick off in the second half. After 53 minutes of play, Nerazzurri's Jochen Loremans made it 1-4 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Octaaf De Ridder was left in no man's land by his defense there! After 56 played minutes FC Baki Baki got a freekick which was hit by Laurence Geeraerts. Octaaf De Ridder showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jochen Loremans, who was totally free with the ball in the 60th minute. Wesley Kindermans took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Laurence Geeraerts, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Octaaf De Ridder came out and tried to block the shot, but Jochen Loremans slotted it home off the left post making it 2-7 in the 93rd minute. Nerazzurri's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
