After having played for 15 minutes, Karl Gijselinkx managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Zwart Kaarsvet FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Karl Gijselinkx was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Arsene Van Hamme kicked well hit freekick during the 17th minute of the match. When Niki De Maret fell near the penalty area in the 22nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Zwart Kaarsvet FC's protests and gave Niki De Maret a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of FC Zacząć od nowa booed when Zwart Kaarsvet FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 22 match minutes in a wonderful position. Niki De Maret didn't get a good kick on the ball. Niki De Maret struck a weak shot in the 30th minute. Francois Van Geertruyen didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Zwart Kaarsvet FC. After 36 minutes, Gaetan Van der Roost mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the FC Zacząć od nowa and the Zwart Kaarsvet FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Gaetan Van der Roost hit a great freekick 36 minutes into the match. Aan Diggele hit a great freekick 40 minutes into the match. After the first half Zwart Kaarsvet FC were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The wind increased when Niki De Maret made the kick off in the second half. In the 54th minute, Niki De Maret ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Francois Van Geertruyen was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. After a defensive mix-up in FC Zacząć od nowa's zone, Niki De Maret stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Francois Van Geertruyen came out of the goal and Niki De Maret tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After a rather tough play, Zwart Kaarsvet FC's Charles Wegers got a free kick in the 60th minute. A collision led to Zwart Kaarsvet FC getting a freekick after 64 minutes play. Bob Snoekens hit a great ball. 73 minutes into the match, FC Zacząć od nowa's goal looked a bit too open when Marten Van den Berghe came free, but Francois Van Geertruyen reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in FC Zacząć od nowa's zone, Niki De Maret stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Francois Van Geertruyen came out of the goal and Niki De Maret tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Niki De Maret had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 79th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Francois Van Geertruyen showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Niki De Maret, who was totally free with the ball in the 80th minute. The crowd rose to their feet as Niki De Maret kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Francois Van Geertruyen. That made the score 0-3 in the 81 minute of play. Zwart Kaarsvet FC's Niki De Maret got a good chance for a goal in the 89th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Niki De Maret in the 93rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Francois Van Geertruyen prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Tony Coosemans showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tommie Van Den Eynden, who was totally free with the ball in the 94th minute. When Zwart Kaarsvet FC's Niki De Maret in the 96th minute got a chance for a shot 96th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye FC Zacząć od nowa's goalie prevented a goal. Zwart Kaarsvet FC's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
