Dave Schipmans could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 9th minute of the match, but Herald Baeten made a huge save. Niki De Maret received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 12th minute. Herald Baeten tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 17 minutes of play, Zwart Kaarsvet FC's Niki De Maret made it 2-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Herald Baeten was left in no man's land by his defense there! After 20 minutes, Charles Wegers mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Zwart Kaarsvet FC and the KFC Graux players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Zwart Kaarsvet FC getting a freekick after 20 minutes play. Charles Wegers hit a great ball. 24 minutes into the match, KFC Graux's goalkeeper Herald Baeten had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Niki De Maret. After a rather tough play, KFC Graux's Gregorie Calstermans got a free kick in the 28th minute. The crowd rose to their feet as Niki De Maret kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Herald Baeten. That made the score 3-0 in the 33 minute of play. Zwart Kaarsvet FC's Tony Coosemans played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Thobias Degryse in the 36th minute of play. Herald Baeten made an important save on a dangerous shot by Niki De Maret in the 41st minute. 43 minutes into the game, Gregorie Calstermans was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. After 52 minutes of play, Zwart Kaarsvet FC's Niki De Maret made it 4-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Herald Baeten was left in no man's land by his defense there! 65 minutes into the match, Dave Schipmans notched a goal, 5-0, to the right of KFC Graux's Herald Baeten. Herald Baeten was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 69 minutes into the game, KFC Graux's Emile Kerstens nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Tony Coosemans made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 5-1. Yoachim Van Gysel hit a great freekick 77 minutes into the match. The audience was convinced that Dave Schipmans's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Herald Baeten was relentless in the 79th minute of the game. Through an outstanding action, after 81 minutes, Tony Coosemans successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Herald Baeten took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dave Schipmans, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 87th minute Gregorie Calstermans shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tony Coosemans saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Dave Schipmans got his second yellow card in the match during the 88th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. Gregorie Calstermans received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Tony Coosemans came out and tried to block the shot, but Gregorie Calstermans slotted it home off the left post making it 5-2 in the 96th minute. KFC Graux's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
