Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Vince Stroobans made the kick off and thus started the match. In the 3rd minute, De Brugse Klokke FC's Sammy Vogels dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-0. BAF Acupunctors's Wannes Eggers got a good chance for a goal in the 5th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Freddy Van Clijnenbreugel sent away a hard shot on goal in the 9th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 11th play minutes Ief Vermeulen shot 2-0, a short shot which went by Jan Ceulemans and just under the crossbar into goal. After a defensive mix-up in BAF Acupunctors's zone, Joaquin Geli stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jan Ceulemans came out of the goal and Joaquin Geli tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When Jeroen Borglevens came up free with the goalie in the 15th minute, the De Brugse Klokke FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jeroen Borglevens couldn't finish the play. Jan Ceulemans stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Ief Vermeulen's shot from short distance in the 17th minute. In the 19th minute, Freddy Van Clijnenbreugel hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 20 played minutes, BAF Acupunctors's Carl-Rune Laaser shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Anthonio Goossens came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in BAF Acupunctors reached it. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jeroen Borglevens in the 22nd minute of play forced BAF Acupunctors's goalkeeper Jan Ceulemans to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Anthonio Goossens showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Wannes Eggers in the 24th minute of the match. Jeroen Borglevens sent away a hard shot on goal in the 27th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Vince Stroobans in the 29th minute of play forced De Brugse Klokke FC's goalkeeper Anthonio Goossens to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, De Brugse Klokke FC's Lennert Jannis got a free kick in the 31st minute. Anthonio Goossens made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Vince Stroobans in the 35th minute of play. 37 minutes into the game, Vince Stroobans cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-2. Anthonio Goossens was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Jeroen Borglevens fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 40th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jan Ceulemans having to interfere. Anthonio Goossens showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Vince Stroobans, who was totally free with the ball in the 42nd minute. 48 minutes into the match, De Brugse Klokke FC's goal looked a bit too open when Wannes Eggers came free, but Anthonio Goossens reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.

In the 54thth minute of the game Ief Vermeulen who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but BAF Acupunctors's Jan Ceulemans was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. De Brugse Klokke FC's Anthonio Goossens played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Vince Stroobans in the 57th minute of play. After a rather tough play, BAF Acupunctors's Edwin De Keijsere got a free kick in the 58th minute. Jan Ceulemans took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Joaquin Geli, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Jeroen Borglevens struck a weak shot in the 61st minute. Jan Ceulemans didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for De Brugse Klokke FC. In the 66th minute Ercole Milani shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jan Ceulemans saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Anthonio Goossens made an important save on a dangerous shot by Edwin De Keijsere in the 69th minute. A collision led to BAF Acupunctors getting a freekick after 72 minutes play. Jordi De Mesemaekre hit a great ball. Jan Ceulemans stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Ief Vermeulen's shot from short distance in the 73rd minute. Donnie Van Bever kicked well hit freekick during the 74th minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in BAF Acupunctors's zone, Jeroen Borglevens stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jan Ceulemans came out of the goal and Jeroen Borglevens tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After having played for 79 minutes, Edwin De Keijsere managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. BAF Acupunctors's supporters crossed their fingers, but Edwin De Keijsere was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Jan Ceulemans showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jeroen Borglevens, who was totally free with the ball in the 81st minute. After some careless play in the De Brugse Klokke FC defense, Edwin De Keijsere kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Anthonio Goossens. The De Brugse Klokke FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Anthonio Goossens should have stopped the shot. After having played for 89 minutes, Ief Vermeulen managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. De Brugse Klokke FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ief Vermeulen was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. During the 97th minute of the match Bill Hofnagels completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Bill Hofnagels a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. Bill Hofnagels hit a great freekick 97 minutes into the match. The De Brugse Klokke FC manager could be seen shouting at his players as they walked down the tunnel after the match. He was clearly angry that they had squandered their superior possession, allowing BAF Acupunctors to win.
