Lex Wigghers's late challenge caught a Club Brugge's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Lex Wigghers helped the player get up and apologised. Lex Wigghers kicked well hit freekick during the 85th minute of the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Lex Wigghers in the 88th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Dany-Adams Van Geertruyden prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After 92 minutes of play FC Hannutd's Lex Wigghers was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. If Carl De Potter had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 96th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When the match was over Club Brugge could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than FC Hannutd throughout the match.
