In the 2nd match minute, RSC Mitswege was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Tijs Dejardin to maneuver through the defense. Ciro Javiar made an important save on a dangerous shot by Glenn De Backer in the 5th minute. Conrad Capellemans received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 14th minute. Alexandre De Cat tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Conrad Capellemans had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 15th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 25 minutes into the match, Conrad Capellemans notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of RSC Mitswege's Alexandre De Cat. Alexandre De Cat was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. When Josef Dams came up free with the goalie in the 33rd minute, the RSC Mitswege fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Josef Dams couldn't finish the play. Alexandre De Cat took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Conrad Capellemans, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 45 minutes into the match, KV Woluwe Zaventem's goal looked a bit too open when Josef Dams came free, but Ciro Javiar reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The RSC Mitswege players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. KV Woluwe Zaventem were winning 0-1.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Fred Van den Enden made a kick off. The supporters of RSC Mitswege booed when KV Woluwe Zaventem was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 51 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jan Schooters didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ciro Javiar took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Glenn De Backer, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Glenn De Backer in the 62nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ciro Javiar prevented the ball from getting in the gole. KV Woluwe Zaventem's Jan Schooters got a good chance for a goal in the 67th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 68th minute, Jan Schooters got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 71st minute, Conrad Capellemans left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The KV Woluwe Zaventem fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-3. In the 75th minute, Conrad Capellemans got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Conrad Capellemans fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 77th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alexandre De Cat having to interfere. Alexandre De Cat made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fred Van den Enden in the 80th minute of play. In the 81st minute, KV Woluwe Zaventem's Conrad Capellemans dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-4. Josef Dams sent away a hard shot on goal in the 87th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The supporters of KV Woluwe Zaventem booed when RSC Mitswege was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 90 match minutes in a wonderful position. Raymond Adriens didn't get a good kick on the ball. KV Woluwe Zaventem played a much better game than RSC Mitswege and deserved their victory. The RSC Mitswege players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
