Maria Petrescu hit a great freekick 9 minutes into the match. 11 minutes in the game Olliver Van den Berchen did a throw-in, and the ball was quickly in game thanks to Waddah Wipp. Mattheo Denijs charged in rather forcefully in the 12th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Mattheo Denijs the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Mattheo Denijs kicked well hit freekick during the 12th minute of the match. Maria Petrescu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 14th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Joeri Mons having to interfere. Joeri Mons made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Maria Petrescu in the 16th minute of play. Lecleir Sniffing Squad's Joeri Mons played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Maria Petrescu in the 17th minute of play. 18 minutes into the game, Christoph De Keijser was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Club Brugge's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Lecleir Sniffing Squad the free kick. After a rather tough play, Club Brugge's Christoph De Keijser got a free kick in the 18th minute. Alfons De Ryck kicked a quick shot right in front of the goal in the 19thth minute. Though ot was a great shot Club Brugge's keeper Dany-Adams Van Geertruyden was sill able to block leaving the score board unchanged. When Alfons De Ryck came up free with the goalie in the 21st minute, the Lecleir Sniffing Squad fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Alfons De Ryck couldn't finish the play. Alfons De Ryck in the 24thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Joeri Mons showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Christoph De Keijser in the 30th minute of the match. If Maria Petrescu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 32nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 36 minutes into the match, Club Brugge's goalkeeper Dany-Adams Van Geertruyden had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Joannes Iwens. Maria Petrescu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 39th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Joeri Mons made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Christoph De Keijser in the 43rd minute of play. Alfons De Ryck recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 44th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Jan-Joost Neys during the 46th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. 46 minutes into the game, one of Club Brugge:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Dany-Adams Van Geertruyden went to the wrong direction when Oscar De Boel was taking care of the penalty kick which however missed the goal. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Alfons De Ryck stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After a defensive mix-up in Lecleir Sniffing Squad's zone, Maria Petrescu stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Joeri Mons came out of the goal and Maria Petrescu tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Mattheo Denijs got his second yellow card in the match during the 58th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. 57 minutes into the game, one of Lecleir Sniffing Squad:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Arnout Naets shot the penalty kick right outside the post. Joannes Iwens struck a weak shot in the 61st minute. Dany-Adams Van Geertruyden didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Lecleir Sniffing Squad. Joeri Mons made a fantastic save in the 63rd minute, when Maria Petrescu sent off a good shot on target. The supporters of Lecleir Sniffing Squad booed when Club Brugge was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 65 match minutes in a wonderful position. Maria Petrescu didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a rather tough play, Club Brugge's Richy De Rijck got a free kick in the 71st minute. Dany-Adams Van Geertruyden made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Joannes Iwens in the 72nd minute of play. A throw-in in the 74th minute of the game was made by Richy De Rijck with Arnout Naets as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. Joeri Mons made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Arnout Naets in the 82nd minute of play. Joeri Mons made an important save on a dangerous shot by Maria Petrescu in the 88th minute. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Giles Van De Broeck during the 90th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Club Brugge's Tommas Limpens was substituted for Maria Petrescu. In the 90th minute, one of Lecleir Sniffing Squad:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Lecleir Sniffing Squad. In the 95th minute, Lecleir Sniffing Squad's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Tommas Limpens fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. When the match clock showed 98 minutes, the score became 0-2 when Tommas Limpens sped through Lecleir Sniffing Squad's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Joeri Mons. When the final whistle sounded Club Brugge left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Lecleir Sniffing Squad.
