Oliver Van Linthaut came out of the goal and Glenn De Backer tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Josef Dams sent away a hard shot on goal in the 23rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Glenn De Backer fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 26th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Oliver Van Linthaut having to interfere. Glenn De Backer received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 28th minute. Oliver Van Linthaut tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 30th minute, Josef Dams made a precise shot to the right of Oliver Van Linthaut. Galatasaray A.S.'s defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. In the 37th minute, Timothy De Bougne ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Oliver Van Linthaut was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. In the 40th minute Josef Dams shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Oliver Van Linthaut saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Alexandre De Cat tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Josef Dams to make the kick off. Kamiel Van Craesbeeck struck a weak shot in the 52nd minute. Alexandre De Cat didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Galatasaray A.S.. Josef Dams received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 57th minute. Oliver Van Linthaut tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Kamiel Van Craesbeeck's late challenge caught a RSC Mitswege's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. After some fancy dribbling in the 69th minute, Kamiel Van Craesbeeck managed to get in a good position for a shot. Galatasaray A.S.'s supporters rose to their feet, but Kamiel Van Craesbeeck was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Alexandre De Cat breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Raymond Adriens's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Oliver Van Linthaut read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 71st minute of play. Oliver Van Linthaut showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Josef Dams, who was totally free with the ball in the 73rd minute. If Josef Dams had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 76th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Arnaud De Werdt recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 83rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 84 minutes into the match, Kamiel Van Craesbeeck had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Alexandre De Cat. RSC Mitswege's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Kamiel Van Craesbeeck was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-2. 88 minutes into the match, Josef Dams dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Oliver Van Linthaut, 1-3. 95 minutes into the match, RSC Mitswege's Glenn De Backer sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Oliver Van Linthaut narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The Galatasaray A.S. supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching RSC Mitswege's performance. The match ended with a win for RSC Mitswege.
