Spectators: 8001 (Terracing: 6002, Seating: 1840, VIP seats: 159) Henri-Xavier Van Meerbeek made the kick off and thus started the match. The ZVC Wellen fans' excitement grew in the 4th match minute when ZVC Wellen's Henri-Xavier Van Meerbeek looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. ZVC Wellen's Henri-Xavier Van Meerbeek got a good chance for a goal in the 9th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Christof Martens came out of the goal in the 13th minute to try and stop a shot by ZVC Wellen's Aaron De Maerschalck. But to his dismay, Aaron De Maerschalck quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. Alan Huybrechts took the ball and in the 17 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Christof Martens. Christof Martens dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-3. Abel de Nijs charged in rather forcefully in the 27th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Abel de Nijs the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Abel de Nijs kicked well hit freekick during the 27th minute of the match. Johny Van Eersel kicked well hit freekick during the 29th minute of the match. Christof Martens took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Henri-Xavier Van Meerbeek, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Henri-Xavier Van Meerbeek in the 34th minute of play forced Esquirla FC's goalkeeper Christof Martens to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 39 minutes into the match, Henri-Xavier Van Meerbeek notched a goal, 0-4, to the right of Esquirla FC's Christof Martens. Christof Martens was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 44th minute, Pascal Beullens hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Henri-Xavier Van Meerbeek came up free with the goalie in the 47th minute, the ZVC Wellen fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Henri-Xavier Van Meerbeek couldn't finish the play.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Paul-Louis Huybrechts was the one to do the kick off. After a defensive mix-up in Esquirla FC's zone, Alan Huybrechts stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Christof Martens came out of the goal and Alan Huybrechts tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 56th minute, Alan Huybrechts managed to get in a good position for a shot. ZVC Wellen's supporters rose to their feet, but Alan Huybrechts was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Christof Martens breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Abel de Nijs kicked well hit freekick during the 58th minute of the match. Benne Tuytgans recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 62nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Christof Martens made a fantastic save in the 64th minute, when Henri-Xavier Van Meerbeek sent off a good shot on target. The supporters of ZVC Wellen booed when Esquirla FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 65 match minutes in a wonderful position. Kenny Van Hemel didn't get a good kick on the ball. Paul-Louis Huybrechts kicked well hit freekick during the 68th minute of the match. 71 minutes into the match, Henri-Xavier Van Meerbeek dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Christof Martens, 0-5. In the 74th minute the ball was on its way in behind Esquirla FC's goalkeeper Christof Martens, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 90thth minute of the game Henri-Xavier Van Meerbeek who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Esquirla FC's Christof Martens was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The crowd rose to their feet as ZVC Wellen's Aaron De Maerschalck slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Christof Martens. That made the score 0-8 after 93 minutes of play.
