When Dan Stuycken fell near the penalty area in the 12th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Barça's protests and gave Dan Stuycken a yellow card for diving instead. Carlos Keldermans sent away a hard shot on goal in the 13th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 17 minutes into the match, Peter-Jan Hofnagels dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Benny Wiggers, 1-0. 21 minutes into the game, Barça's Peter-Jan Hofnagels nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Benny Wiggers made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-0. Peter-Jan Hofnagels sent away a hard shot on goal in the 26th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Peter-Jan Hofnagels could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 29th minute of the match, but Benny Wiggers made a huge save. Benny Wiggers was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Yannik Meersmans showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 3-0 in the 30 minute of play. Mark Meulemans hit a great freekick 34 minutes into the match. The crowd rose to their feet as Peter-Jan Hofnagels kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Benny Wiggers. That made the score 4-0 in the 36 minute of play. Benny Wiggers came out of the goal in the 40th minute to try and stop a shot by Barça's Peter-Jan Hofnagels. But to his dismay, Peter-Jan Hofnagels quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 5-0. Barça's Timothy Gyselincx got a good chance for a goal in the 48th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Af the end of the first half the score was 5-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Barça were awarded a corner in the 54th minute after De Rudies's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Bart-Jan De Vaddere took the corner. Timothy Gyselincx made a great header on Barça's corner, it was just that De Rudies's Benny Wiggers managed to reach the ball for a save. In the 59th minute of the match Bill Van Hinnendaels sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Benny Wiggers skillfully saved the ball. Benny Wiggers showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Peter-Jan Hofnagels, who was totally free with the ball in the 60th minute. Benny Wiggers stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Peter-Jan Hofnagels's shot from short distance in the 62nd minute. Benny Wiggers was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Peter-Jan Hofnagels recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 89th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 90th minute, Luuk Justens hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Mark Meulemans charged in rather forcefully in the 91st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Mark Meulemans the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, De Rudies's Mark Meulemans got a free kick in the 92nd minute. Yannik Meersmans scored 9-0 in the 94th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Benny Wiggers, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Mark Meulemans got his second yellow card in the match during the 98th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. In the 98th minute, Mark Meulemans hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a rather tough play, Barça's Yannik Meersmans got a free kick in the 99th minute. When the referee ended the match the Barça players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
