Steffen Leclerq made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gery Langhmans in the 5th minute of play. In the 14th minute the ball was on its way in behind OS Nooby United's goalkeeper Steffen Leclerq, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. When Lorenz Kestens fell near the penalty area in the 14th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored OS Nooby United's protests and gave Lorenz Kestens a yellow card for diving instead. Ksawery Gdowski showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Kenneth Sandberg, who was totally free with the ball in the 26th minute. After a rather tough play, OS Nooby United's Jacobus Van Deuren got a free kick in the 30th minute. Angelo Baert's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Ksawery Gdowski read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 32nd minute of play. Angelo Baerts short, quick shot in the 38thth minute got Ksawery Gdowski to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. In the 41st minute of the match Rodrigo Bento shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Steffen Leclerq showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. With a little luck, Nothing's Ksawery Gdowski got control of the ball when Lorenz Kestens tried to sneak it across the goal line. Angelo Baert fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 44th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ksawery Gdowski having to interfere. Ksawery Gdowski came out of the goal in the 46th minute to try and stop a shot by OS Nooby United's Angelo Baert. But to his dismay, Angelo Baert quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Angelo Baert was the one to do the kick off. Tomas De Brouwer kicked well hit freekick during the 60th minute of the match. Ksawery Gdowski stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Angelo Baert's shot from short distance in the 62nd minute. If Kenneth Sandberg had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 65th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 70 minutes, Hector Vanden Driessche mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the OS Nooby United and the Nothing players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Nothing booed when OS Nooby United was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 70 match minutes in a wonderful position. Hector Vanden Driessche didn't get a good kick on the ball. The long shot by Guilian Van De Wiele in the 71st minute really tested Steffen Leclerq's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. After a defensive mix-up in Nothing's zone, Angelo Baert stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ksawery Gdowski came out of the goal and Angelo Baert tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Lorenz Kestens fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 81st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ksawery Gdowski having to interfere. After 87 minutes, Thommy Toeback mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Nothing and the OS Nooby United players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 86th minute, one of Nothing:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Nothing. An unexpectedly hard shot by Angelo Baert in the 90th minute of play forced Nothing's goalkeeper Ksawery Gdowski to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ksawery Gdowski took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Kenneth Sandberg, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Lorenz Kestens sent away a hard shot on goal in the 93rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.
