Benny Wiggers tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A collision led to Purple Talent getting a freekick after 12 minutes play. Andrez Van Ghele hit a great ball. Bass Helsens spun around in front of the goal 18 minutes in the game, and got away a shot that, to his disappointment, went to the left of De Rudies's goal. In the 21st minute the ball was on its way in behind De Rudies's goalkeeper Benny Wiggers, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Kristof Van Bael didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Carlos Keldermans went, in the 25th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. 30 minutes into the match, De Rudies's goal looked a bit too open when Stef Vlimmens came free, but Benny Wiggers reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Bass Helsens struck a weak shot in the 32nd minute. Benny Wiggers didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Purple Talent. Ruud Van Den Eijnde kicked well hit freekick during the 36th minute of the match. Stef Vlimmens's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Benny Wiggers read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 39th minute of play. Kristof Van Bael stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Carlos Keldermans's shot from short distance in the 40th minute. Stef Vlimmens received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 44th minute. Benny Wiggers tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Carlos Keldermans sent away a hard shot on goal in the 47th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Carlos Keldermans stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 51 minutes into the game, one of Purple Talent:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. The referee gave De Rudies a penalty, 53 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Marten Scheerens, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Purple Talent's Kristof Van Bael. 2-0. Remy Bekaert received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 72nd minute. Kristof Van Bael tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Kristof Van Bael made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-0. If Stef Vlimmens had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 92nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 3-1 became the score in the 93rd minute when Bass Helsens elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. When the match clock showed 97 minutes, the score became 4-1 when Remy Bekaert sped through Purple Talent's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Kristof Van Bael.
