In the 4th minute, Geert-Jan Coomans got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Pan Jian Yong blasted a shot towards the goal in the 9th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Matias Dimo having to make a save. Matias Dimo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Pan Jian Yong, who was totally free with the ball in the 9th minute. 12 minutes into the match, Lions United's Pan Jian Yong sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Matias Dimo narrowly saved just below the crossbar. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Pan Jian Yong in the 16th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Matias Dimo saved Sporting Westmeerbeek from getting behind. Sporting Westmeerbeek's Matias Dimo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Pan Jian Yong in the 17th minute of play. Pan Jian Yong's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Matias Dimo read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 18th minute of play. With an all-out effort, Sporting Westmeerbeek's Steve De Wilde threw himself towards the right post 20 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Luke Van Den Driessche, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Through an outstanding action, after 22 minutes, Steve De Wilde successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Lucas Portai hit a great freekick 25 minutes into the match. After some careless play in the Sporting Westmeerbeek defense, Pan Jian Yong kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Matias Dimo. The Sporting Westmeerbeek fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Matias Dimo should have stopped the shot. After 31 played minutes Sporting Westmeerbeek got a freekick which was hit by Edward Cranenburgh. Matias Dimo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Pan Jian Yong in the 34th minute of play. In the 36th minute, Pan Jian Yong ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Matias Dimo was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. Pan Jian Yong scored 0-3 in the 41st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Matias Dimo, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-3.

The wind increased when Luke Van Den Driessche made the kick off in the second half. 53 minutes into the match, Pan Jian Yong had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Matias Dimo. Sporting Westmeerbeek's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Pan Jian Yong was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-4. In the 57th minute, Edward Cranenburgh ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Steve De Wilde was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-4. 63 minutes into the match, Lions United's Pan Jian Yong sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Matias Dimo narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Lions United's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Gao Cheng Yun in the 64th minute. Matias Dimo came out of the goal in the 69th minute to try and stop a shot by Lions United's Pan Jian Yong. But to his dismay, Pan Jian Yong quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-5. 72 minutes into the game, Pan Jian Yong cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-6. Matias Dimo was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Pan Jian Yong succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 1-8 in the 81st playminute. 86 minutes into the game, Lions United's Pan Jian Yong nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Matias Dimo made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-9. The audience thought a goal was coming when Pan Jian Yong got free with Matias Dimo in the 89th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Peng De Guang hit a great freekick 91 minutes into the match. Steve De Wilde didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Jonas Anselius went, in the 93rd minute, to the upper right corner, 2-9 was the resulting score. Lions United's Steve De Wilde played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jonas Anselius in the 96th minute of play. Sporting Westmeerbeek's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Ludo Tieleman in the 98th minute. A nice corner shot did that Ludo Tieleman got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Steve De Wilde quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Lions United had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
