Through an outstanding action, after 7 minutes, Matias Dimo successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. With a little luck, Sporting Westmeerbeek's Matias Dimo got control of the ball when Joop Mesmaeckers tried to sneak it across the goal line. Eser Şemsi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Edward Cranenburgh in the 20th minute of play. Matias Dimo made a fantastic save in the 28th minute, when Christiaan Elsen sent off a good shot on target. Eser Şemsi showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Luke Van Den Driessche, who was totally free with the ball in the 31st minute. Joop Mesmaeckers could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 34th minute of the match, but Matias Dimo made a huge save. Ludo Tieleman lost his temper 40 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. Ludo Tieleman hit a great freekick 41 minutes into the match. In the 45th minute Michael Cuelens shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Matias Dimo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Joop Mesmaeckers stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Esterilla Van Meenen in the 51st minute of play forced Sporting Westmeerbeek's goalkeeper Matias Dimo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 53 minutes into the match, All Stars Gent's Joop Mesmaeckers sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Matias Dimo narrowly saved just below the crossbar. If Christiaan Elsen had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 55th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 58 minutes into the match, All Stars Gent's goal looked a bit too open when Edward Cranenburgh came free, but Eser Şemsi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Luke Van Den Driessche recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 64th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. All Stars Gent were furious when Ray Van Aarschot was red carded, 77 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. Eser Şemsi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Edward Cranenburgh in the 79th minute of play. 83 minutes into the match, Sporting Westmeerbeek's goal looked a bit too open when Michael Cuelens came free, but Matias Dimo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Eser Şemsi showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Pieter Degraef in the 93rd minute of the match. Sporting Westmeerbeek were disappointed that they only managed a draw, even though they felt themselves to be the better team.
