Thys Geraerts was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The supporters of Dynamo Marx booed when Decathlon Anderlecht was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 37 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cafu van Beek didn't get a good kick on the ball. Marcus Odin received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Thys Geraerts came out and tried to block the shot, but Marcus Odin slotted it home off the left post making it 4-1 in the 39th minute. Marcus Odin could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 43rd minute of the match, but Thys Geraerts made a huge save. Martín González's late challenge caught a Dynamo Marx's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card.
