The supporters of North Side booed when De Pintenpakkers was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 5 match minutes in a wonderful position. Zhuang Yang didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 6th minute the ball was on its way in behind De Pintenpakkers's goalkeeper Phillipe Rouvroys, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. North Side's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Jakob Vandamme in the 7th minute. Hurko Longo was in a good position and managed to take a shot, but he missed just to the outside of the post. Phillipe Rouvroys took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Robert Van der Weijden, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. De Pintenpakkers's Phillipe Rouvroys played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jakob Vandamme in the 12th minute of play. 15 minutes into the match, De Pintenpakkers's goal looked a bit too open when Jakob Vandamme came free, but Phillipe Rouvroys reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 16 played minutes De Pintenpakkers got a freekick which was hit by Dolf Van Hoeij. Phillipe Rouvroys showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mattias Qvalfeldt, who was totally free with the ball in the 17th minute. Phillipe Rouvroys made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Robert Van der Weijden in the 28th minute of play. In the 33rd minute Jakob Vandamme shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Phillipe Rouvroys saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Phillipe Rouvroys showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Robert Van der Weijden in the 35th minute of the match. After 36 played minutes De Pintenpakkers got a freekick which was hit by Arnoud Van Landschoot. De Pintenpakkers's Phillipe Rouvroys played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jakob Vandamme in the 43rd minute of play. After 44 minutes of play, North Side's Mattias Qvalfeldt made it 1-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Phillipe Rouvroys was left in no man's land by his defense there! After taking down the ball on North Side's corner Jakob Vandamme fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Phillipe Rouvroys quite easily take care of the ball. Disappointed in the 1-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

After some fancy dribbling in the 53rd minute, Wesly Sulems managed to get in a good position for a shot. De Pintenpakkers's supporters rose to their feet, but Wesly Sulems was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Alfred Robin breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Phillipe Rouvroys made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mattias Qvalfeldt in the 57th minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Wesly Sulems in the 67th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Alfred Robin prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After 68 played minutes North Side got a freekick which was hit by Hendrik-Jan Van Beets. North Side's Alfred Robin played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Wesly Sulems in the 69th minute of play. 70 minutes into the match, De Pintenpakkers's goalkeeper Phillipe Rouvroys had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Robert Van der Weijden. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Phillipe Rouvroys, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Through an outstanding action, after 95 minutes, Phillipe Rouvroys successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post.
