Bobby Vanooteghem came out of the goal and Tommi Armentier tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Tommi Armentier scored 0-3 in the 13th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Bobby Vanooteghem, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 15th minute, Tommi Armentier left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Eendracht Vooruit fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-4. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Mikolaj Tomaszewski stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Diederick Imbrechs fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 51st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bobby Vanooteghem having to interfere. Tommi Armentier could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 53rd minute of the match, but Bobby Vanooteghem made a huge save. 56 minutes into the match, Dare to dream again's goalkeeper Bobby Vanooteghem had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Tommi Armentier. Bobby Vanooteghem showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tommi Armentier in the 58th minute of the match. After taking down the ball on Eendracht Vooruit's corner Mihai Encea fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Bobby Vanooteghem quite easily take care of the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Dare to dream again's zone, Gery Burhanuddin stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Bobby Vanooteghem came out of the goal and Gery Burhanuddin tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Eendracht Vooruit were awarded a corner in the 67th minute after Dare to dream again's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Mihai Encea took the corner. An unexpectedly hard shot by Yu Feng Sang in the 68th minute of play forced Eendracht Vooruit's goalkeeper Atay Türegün to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The audience was convinced that Yu Feng Sang's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Atay Türegün was relentless in the 70th minute of the game. 73 minutes in the game Levi De Paepe did a throw-in, and the ball was quickly in game thanks to Yu Feng Sang. Bobby Vanooteghem was a little too slow when Gery Burhanuddin got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 75th minute. The score was now 0-7. The supporters of Eendracht Vooruit booed when Dare to dream again was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 84 match minutes in a wonderful position. Eddy Nelleboedske didn't get a good kick on the ball. A nice corner shot did that David Leenknecht got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Bobby Vanooteghem quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. With his leg Bobby Vanooteghem managed to avoid a goal in the 87thth minute, when Eendracht Vooruit's Gery Burhanuddin fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. If Gery Burhanuddin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 92nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead.
