Winksele 2016's Ben Dillemans played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Damazy Radzyminski in the 12th minute of play. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

Ben Dillemans showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Frans Van Caubergen, who was totally free with the ball in the 51st minute. Benjamin Carberry's late challenge caught a Winksele 2016's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Benjamin Carberry helped the player get up and apologised. After 59 played minutes Silver Squad AFC got a freekick which was hit by Benjamin Carberry. Silver Squad AFC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-0. When the match had gone on for 90 minutes, Frans Van Caubergen took a quick shot and it went in 2-1 without a chance for Ben Dillemans to make any attempt to save it. Loid De Keuster took the ball and in the 93 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Ben Dillemans. Ben Dillemans dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-2.
