Spectators: 8445 (Terracing: 6335, Seating: 1942, VIP seats: 168) KV Schoonwater's Pino Van Hinnendaels started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 5th minute, Alek De Hondt made a precise shot to the right of Jesse Van Landeghem. KV Vencimosnt's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Corneel De Maerschalck in the 10th minute of play forced KV Schoonwater's goalkeeper Henk Jonckers to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Jesse Van Landeghem made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Frederick Demeester in the 12th minute of play. With his leg Jesse Van Landeghem managed to avoid a goal in the 15thth minute, when KV Schoonwater's Alek De Hondt fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. In the 17th play minute Pino Van Hinnendaels came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Jesse Van Landeghem. 2-0. Jesse Van Landeghem didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when KV Schoonwater's Pino Van Hinnendaels shot an unexpected shot in the crossbar's under edge and made 3-0 in the ordered_time% minute. With a little luck, KV Vencimosnt's Jesse Van Landeghem got control of the ball when Pino Van Hinnendaels tried to sneak it across the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 36th minute, Pino Van Hinnendaels managed to get in a good position for a shot. KV Schoonwater's supporters rose to their feet, but Pino Van Hinnendaels was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jesse Van Landeghem breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 37thth minute of the game Abel Van Den Wijngaert who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but KV Vencimosnt's Jesse Van Landeghem was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Jesse Van Landeghem made an important save on a dangerous shot by Pino Van Hinnendaels in the 38th minute. In the 42nd minute Abel Van Den Wijngaert shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jesse Van Landeghem saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Pino Van Hinnendaels got free with Jesse Van Landeghem in the 43rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. A hard shot 45 in the game by Pino Van Hinnendaels from a close distance when the talented Jesse Van Landeghem managed to make a qualified save. KV Vencimosnt's players were relieved. KV Vencimosnt's Jesse Van Landeghem played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alek De Hondt in the 46th minute of play. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 3-0 at half-time.

The supporters of KV Schoonwater booed when KV Vencimosnt was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 54 match minutes in a wonderful position. Tommy Ronsman didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 55th minute, a hard, long distance shot from Frederick Demeester hit the top of the crossbar and flew over the goal. In the 64thth minute of the game Abel Van Den Wijngaert who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but KV Vencimosnt's Jesse Van Landeghem was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Abel Van Den Wijngaert sent away a hard shot on goal in the 66th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Jesse Van Landeghem came out of the goal in the 69th minute to try and stop a shot by KV Schoonwater's Abel Van Den Wijngaert. But to his dismay, Abel Van Den Wijngaert quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 6-0. Abel Van Den Wijngaert sent away a hard shot on goal in the 74th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Henk Jonckers made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Martin Scheerens in the 78th minute of play. KV Schoonwater's Henk Jonckers proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 79th minute of the match, managed to save KV Schoonwater from getting a goal against them. In the 80th minute, Abel Van Den Wijngaert ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Jesse Van Landeghem was frozen by the shot and now it was 7-0. In the 84th minute, Alek De Hondt got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 87th minute Abel Van Den Wijngaert shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jesse Van Landeghem saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. KV Schoonwater's Sven-Edvin Viklund was substituted for Frederick Demeester. After 90 minutes KV Vencimosnt's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Thibaud Rymenans who took care of the corner kick. After taking down the ball on KV Schoonwater's corner Thibaud Rymenans fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Jesse Van Landeghem quite easily take care of the ball. A collision led to KV Vencimosnt getting a freekick after 94 minutes play. Tommy Ronsman hit a great ball. In the 96th minute, Abel Van Den Wijngaert got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. KV Schoonwater's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
