The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After 4 minutes, Iwan Marchefka made it 0-1 with a short kick to the right side. KSV Ursene's Brent-Jan Van der Roost tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Ernest van Elderen recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 8th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Joery Hylen sent away a hard shot on goal in the 13th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Brent-Jan Van der Roost didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Atle Finsrud went, in the 15th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-3 was the resulting score. 19 minutes into the match, Joery Hylen had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Brent-Jan Van der Roost. KSV Ursene's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Joery Hylen was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-4. Brent-Jan Van der Roost took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Joery Hylen, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Brent-Jan Van der Roost made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Atle Finsrud in the 25th minute of play. After some careless play in the KSV Ursene defense, Joery Hylen kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Brent-Jan Van der Roost. The KSV Ursene fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Brent-Jan Van der Roost should have stopped the shot. In the 30th minute, Zabal Ubeda ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Brent-Jan Van der Roost was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-6. A collision led to KSV Ursene getting a freekick after 32 minutes play. Peter-Jan De Koq hit a great ball. Brent-Jan Van der Roost showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Zabal Ubeda, who was totally free with the ball in the 33rd minute. In the 35th minute, Joery Hylen left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The FC Klavertje Vier fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-7. After 41 minutes, Bryan Anthonis mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the KSV Ursene and the FC Klavertje Vier players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 43rd minute of the match Zabal Ubeda sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Brent-Jan Van der Roost skillfully saved the ball. Brent-Jan Van der Roost showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Zinon Potamias, who was totally free with the ball in the 45th minute. Peter-Jan De Koq kicked well hit freekick during the 46th minute of the match. Zabal Ubeda took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 47th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Brent-Jan Van der Roost. KSV Ursene's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Disappointed in the 0-7 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Zinon Potamias to strike the kick off in the second half. The FC Klavertje Vier fans' excitement grew in the 52nd match minute when FC Klavertje Vier's Zinon Potamias looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-8 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. KSV Ursene's Brent-Jan Van der Roost played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Joery Hylen in the 61st minute of play. The supporters of FC Klavertje Vier booed when KSV Ursene was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 68 match minutes in a wonderful position. Christiaan Gielens didn't get a good kick on the ball. Atle Finsrud scored 0-15 in the 81st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Brent-Jan Van der Roost, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After 88 minutes of play, FC Klavertje Vier's Zabal Ubeda made it 0-17 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Brent-Jan Van der Roost was left in no man's land by his defense there! FC Klavertje Vier's attack was well implemented in the 94th minute, but when Atle Finsrud was about to shoot he didn't get a good hit on the ball and it hit the crossbar and flew over. Goal Kick. When the match was over FC Klavertje Vier could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than KSV Ursene throughout the match.
