The audience thought a goal was coming when Dito da Cunha got free with Emiel De Raeijmaecker in the 13th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Karel Dheedene made in the 14th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by FC Margi's Erwin-Alexander Weygaerts. In the 31stth minute of the game Romain Berrewouts who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but FC Margi's Tommas De Vleeschauwere was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Fox Hunting Squad were awarded a corner in the 34th minute after FC Margi's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Joachim Vleminx took the corner. In the 37th minute Romain Berrewouts shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tommas De Vleeschauwere saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Tommas De Vleeschauwere showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Nic Adams in the 40th minute of the match. Fox Hunting Squad were awarded a corner in the 41th minute after FC Margi's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Joachim Vleminx took the corner. A nice corner shot did that Joachim Vleminx got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Tommas De Vleeschauwere quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. FC Margi's Tommas De Vleeschauwere played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nic Adams in the 43rd minute of play. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Romain Berrewouts to make the kick off. Fox Hunting Squad's Jozef Gielis quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Ief Winnepennincks, made in the 52nd minute of the game. If Romain Berrewouts had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 58th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 61 minutes into the match, FC Margi's goalkeeper Tommas De Vleeschauwere had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Romain Berrewouts. FC Margi's Tommas De Vleeschauwere proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 62nd minute of the match, managed to save FC Margi from getting a goal against them. In the 67th minute, Romain Berrewouts hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a rather tough play, FC Margi's Octave Andriesens got a free kick in the 69th minute. Romain Berrewouts took the ball and in the 70 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Tommas De Vleeschauwere. Tommas De Vleeschauwere dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. Tommas De Vleeschauwere showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jozef Gielis, who was totally free with the ball in the 73rd minute. Romain Berrewouts fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 77th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tommas De Vleeschauwere having to interfere. After 81 played minutes Fox Hunting Squad got a freekick which was hit by Karel Dheedene. After 82 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Fox Hunting Squad! Romain Berrewouts's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 87thth minute, Tommas De Vleeschauwere skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. The supporters of Fox Hunting Squad booed when FC Margi was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 90 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ief Winnepennincks didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 92 minutes FC Margi's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Joachim Vleminx who took care of the corner kick. Emiel De Raeijmaecker showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Pieter-Jan Buelens, who was totally free with the ball in the 94th minute. Pieter-Jan Buelens charged in rather forcefully in the 97th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Pieter-Jan Buelens the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 97th minute, Pieter-Jan Buelens hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field.
