Walter Meeus was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Hotshot XI Productions TM's Walter Meeus played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Benedicto Atarratze in the 15th minute of play. Walter Meeus showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Benedicto Atarratze in the 15th minute of the match. The audience was convinced that Dido Muhtarov's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Mitch Lauwers was relentless in the 16th minute of the game. Benedicto Atarratze might have been able to make a better finish in the 24th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Walter Meeus. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Benedicto Atarratze ran back to his position shaking his head. Hotshot XI Productions TM's Walter Meeus played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Benedicto Atarratze in the 24th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by 严真鹰 in the 30th minute of play forced Selebi-Phikwe's goalkeeper Mitch Lauwers to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Walter Meeus stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Benedicto Atarratze's shot from short distance in the 32nd minute. In the 36th minute the ball was on its way in behind Hotshot XI Productions TM's goalkeeper Walter Meeus, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 39th minute, Benedicto Atarratze got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Mitch Lauwers showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dido Muhtarov, who was totally free with the ball in the 41st minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Benedicto Atarratze in the 42nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Walter Meeus saved Hotshot XI Productions TM from getting behind. After having played for 44 minutes, Benedicto Atarratze managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Selebi-Phikwe's supporters crossed their fingers, but Benedicto Atarratze was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Benedicto Atarratze to strike the kick off in the second half. After a rather tough play, Hotshot XI Productions TM's Alphonse Uytebroeck got a free kick in the 54th minute. An unexpected shot in the 66th minute by Abid Bubalo got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. 75 minutes into the game, Benedicto Atarratze cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-2. Walter Meeus was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Selebi-Phikwe's Cléberson Neves was substituted for Benedicto Atarratze. Selebi-Phikwe's Chris-George Serneels was substituted for Marc Thidén. Cléberson Neves recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 84th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 87 minutes into the match, Selebi-Phikwe's goal looked a bit too open when Dido Muhtarov came free, but Mitch Lauwers reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Mitch Lauwers came out of the goal in the 93rd minute to try and stop a shot by Hotshot XI Productions TM's 严真鹰. But to his dismay, 严真鹰 quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-2. In the 96th minute, Mavrudi Simov made a precise shot to the right of Mitch Lauwers. Selebi-Phikwe's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-2.
