Charles-Antoine Tilens charged in rather forcefully in the 41st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Wouter Gijselinckx to make the kick off. Nélson Brites made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 7-0. 83 minutes into the match, Wouter Gijselinckx had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Nélson Brites. KSV Sottegem's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Wouter Gijselinckx was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 8-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Wouter Gijselinckx in the 87th minute of play forced KSV Sottegem's goalkeeper Nélson Brites to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 89th match minute, KSV Sottegem was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Arkadiusz Domeradzki to maneuver through the defense. Wouter Gijselinckx took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 90th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Nélson Brites. KSV Sottegem's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line.
