Brugge United's Percy da Fonseca managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Rueben Rashleigh in the 3 minute of the game. An unexpectedly hard shot by Marciano Hendrickx in the 4th minute of play forced Brugge United's goalkeeper Vítor Baia to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 11th minute, Marciano Hendrickx ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Vítor Baia was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. Vítor Baia showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Marciano Hendrickx, who was totally free with the ball in the 18th minute. The supporters of Beek City booed when Brugge United was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 19 match minutes in a wonderful position. Percy da Fonseca didn't get a good kick on the ball. Vítor Baia came out of the goal in the 23rd minute to try and stop a shot by Beek City's Marciano Hendrickx. But to his dismay, Marciano Hendrickx quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. A sloppy throw-in by Percy da Fonseca in the 26th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Beek City's Rueben Rashleigh. Rodriguinho de Castro was out of position in the 33 minute of play, and Guido Vissenaeken capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Guido Vissenaeken really showed his touch with that goal: 1-2. Beek City's Rueben Rashleigh managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Dries Philipsen in the 37 minute of the game. In the 39th minute Ümit Karan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rodriguinho de Castro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Rodriguinho de Castro came out of the goal in the 39th minute to try and stop a shot by Brugge United's Ümit Karan. But to his dismay, Ümit Karan quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-2. 42 minutes into the match, Brugge United's goal looked a bit too open when Marciano Hendrickx came free, but Vítor Baia reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 45 minutes into the match, Beek City's goal looked a bit too open when Guido Vissenaeken came free, but Rodriguinho de Castro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 45 minutes into the game, Guido Vissenaeken cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-2. Rodriguinho de Castro was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 3-2 at half-time.

The wind increased when Guido Vissenaeken made the kick off in the second half. In the 52nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Beek City's goalkeeper Rodriguinho de Castro, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Vítor Baia showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Marciano Hendrickx in the 54th minute of the match. Jaspar Van Den Broeck kicked well hit freekick during the 55th minute of the match. Brugge United's Arnauld Van Impe was substituted for Guido Vissenaeken. An unexpectedly hard shot by Marciano Hendrickx in the 59th minute of play forced Brugge United's goalkeeper Vítor Baia to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Rodriguinho de Castro took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Arnauld Van Impe, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ümit Karan in the 63rd minute of play forced Beek City's goalkeeper Rodriguinho de Castro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Beek City's Marciano Hendrickx in the 67th minute got a chance for a shot 67th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ümit Karan in the 72nd minute of play forced Beek City's goalkeeper Rodriguinho de Castro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Rodriguinho de Castro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Arnauld Van Impe in the 73rd minute of the match. 87 minutes into the match, Arnauld Van Impe had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Rodriguinho de Castro. Beek City's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Arnauld Van Impe was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 4-2. Brugge United were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Beek City for a fine match.
