In the 35th minute Axel Davus shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Laurence Van Den Abeele saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Freddy Tilens stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Wolf De Hond's shot from short distance in the 40th minute. The supporters of Apricis Bruxella booed when KFC Paal-Tervant was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 83 match minutes in a wonderful position. Klemens Huffschmid didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Wolf De Hond had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 86th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to Apricis Bruxella getting a freekick after 89 minutes play. Gencer Korkutalp hit a great ball. Laurence Van Den Abeele was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 90th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Shaun McLae. Freddy Tilens made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Wolf De Hond in the 95th minute of play. When the final whistle sounded KFC Paal-Tervant left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Apricis Bruxella.
