After some fancy dribbling in the 40th minute, Dario Smajlagić managed to get in a good position for a shot. Toholji's supporters rose to their feet, but Dario Smajlagić was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Zdenko Krstanović breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 48th minute the ball was on its way in behind Zbjeg's goalkeeper Zdenko Krstanović, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-2 lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Davor Lutfić to make the kick off. The audience was convinced that Isfendijar Halimović's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Zdenko Krstanović was relentless in the 52nd minute of the game. Nešat Ristić hit a great ball. Zdenko Krstanović made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Zijo Ifetović in the 75th minute of play. Zijo Ifetović fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 77th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Zdenko Krstanović having to interfere. In the 81st minute, Šahsivar Njitraj ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Amar Rašičić was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-3. In the 85th minute, Zijo Ifetović got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Zdenko Krstanović showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sony Duro, who was totally free with the ball in the 90th minute. 91 minutes into the match, Dario Smajlagić had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Zdenko Krstanović. Zbjeg's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Dario Smajlagić was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-3. After a rather tough play, Zbjeg's Šahsivar Njitraj got a free kick in the 94th minute. Zijo Ifetović received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 96th minute. Zdenko Krstanović tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Toholji were clearly unhappy with the draw, as they felt they had done enough to earn themselves a victory.
