Vehid Hamdić charged in rather forcefully in the 10th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Vehid Hamdić the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Hodbina getting a freekick after 10 minutes play. Vehid Hamdić hit a great ball. 15 minutes into the match, Drenovaca's goal looked a bit too open when Milorad Aldžić came free, but Osmica Šiljkut reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When the match had gone on for 18 minutes, Joup Tojagić put it in 1-0 from a short distance just to the right of Šahin Damirović. Daut Veliborić recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 23rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The audience was convinced that Milorad Aldžić's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Osmica Šiljkut was relentless in the 31st minute of the game. Osmica Šiljkut made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Advan Đuričić in the 32nd minute of play. In the 34th minute Joup Tojagić shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Šahin Damirović saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Joup Tojagić scored 2-0 in the 38th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Šahin Damirović, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 47th minute, Ferik Čorić had to leave the field with a concussion. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Hodbina's Šahin Damirović played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Joup Tojagić in the 55th minute of play. Zijahudin Crnogorac got his second yellow card in the match during the 56th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. The supporters of Hodbina booed when Drenovaca was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 57 match minutes in a wonderful position. Zijahudin Crnogorac didn't get a good kick on the ball. Hodbina's Šahin Damirović played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Daut Veliborić in the 60th minute of play. If Rizo Gajić had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 61st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Joup Tojagić in the 65th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Šahin Damirović prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Šahin Damirović made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Boriša Čosković in the 67th minute of play. Hodbina's Šahin Damirović played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Daut Veliborić in the 68th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Joup Tojagić in the 70th minute of play forced Hodbina's goalkeeper Šahin Damirović to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Hodbina's zone, Boriša Čosković stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Šahin Damirović came out of the goal and Boriša Čosković tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Daut Veliborić had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 73rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 78 minutes into the match, Drenovaca's Daut Veliborić sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Šahin Damirović narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After some fancy dribbling in the 80th minute, Boriša Čosković managed to get in a good position for a shot. Drenovaca's supporters rose to their feet, but Boriša Čosković was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Šahin Damirović breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Daut Veliborić had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 81st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Daut Veliborić came up free with the goalie in the 93rd minute, the Drenovaca fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Daut Veliborić couldn't finish the play. Boriša Čosković recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 95th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal.
