When the match had been going on for 47 minutes, Galasici HRK's Hilmo Zaimović got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Radomir Našidović. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 2-2 after a close first half.

The wind increased when Greco Sejfović made the kick off in the second half. Jule Klaić was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Vlado Buljubašić showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 2-3 in the 56 minute of play. If Vlado Buljubašić had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 80th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Boriša Lihovac took the ball and in the 82 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Jule Klaić. Jule Klaić dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-4. Cine Ganibović sent away a hard shot on goal in the 87th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Greco Sejfović had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 90th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 93rd minute, Ehliman Jurić hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 95th minute of the match Blažko Demić shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Jule Klaić showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Greco Sejfović fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 97th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Radomir Našidović having to interfere. Dzerici's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
