Crocs Sarajevo's Malik Husić proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 7th minute of the match, managed to save Crocs Sarajevo from getting a goal against them. Radomir Našidović made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sudo Jelić in the 9th minute of play. Malik Husić came out of the goal in the 12th minute to try and stop a shot by Dzerici's Boriša Lihovac. But to his dismay, Boriša Lihovac quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. The supporters of Crocs Sarajevo booed when Dzerici was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 16 match minutes in a wonderful position. Sejdo Filipović didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 18th minute of the match Hajrudin Mučalović sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Radomir Našidović skillfully saved the ball. Sudo Jelić received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 22nd minute. Radomir Našidović tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sudo Jelić in the 30th minute of play forced Dzerici's goalkeeper Radomir Našidović to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some careless play in the Crocs Sarajevo defense, Boriša Lihovac kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Malik Husić. The Crocs Sarajevo fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Malik Husić should have stopped the shot. Boriša Lihovac received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Malik Husić came out and tried to block the shot, but Boriša Lihovac slotted it home off the left post making it 3-0 in the 37th minute. Radomir Našidović took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Aco Kemura, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 43 minutes into the match, Crocs Sarajevo's goal looked a bit too open when Boriša Lihovac came free, but Malik Husić reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Crocs Sarajevo's Malik Husić played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Boriša Lihovac in the 47th minute of play. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 3-0.

After a defensive mix-up in Crocs Sarajevo's zone, Stefan Agibović stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat.
