The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Zvonimir Petranović showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Nasrudin Janjiš in the 3rd minute of the match. 7 minutes into the game, Aidin Tonić was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Imperium's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave NK ORAHOVICA the free kick. After 7 played minutes Imperium got a freekick which was hit by Aidin Tonić. Hivzija Fadilović made an important save on a dangerous shot by Zekai Özver in the 9th minute. Hivzija Fadilović was a little too slow when Živomir Gudelj got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 12th minute. The score was now 1-0. Muzafer Hasanović scored 1-1 in the 17th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Zvonimir Petranović, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 20th minute, Gerardo Oihan hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Zvonimir Petranović took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Nasrudin Janjiš, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The supporters of NK ORAHOVICA booed when Imperium was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 23 match minutes in a wonderful position. Muzafer Hasanović didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 37 played minutes Imperium got a freekick which was hit by Miodrag Rajović. Bahro Kapetanović hit a great freekick 41 minutes into the match. NK ORAHOVICA's Gerardo Oihan got a good chance for a goal in the 42nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 47 minutes, Bule Jusić mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Imperium and the NK ORAHOVICA players grew even worse after the yellow card. Bule Jusić hit a great freekick 47 minutes into the match. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

The wind increased when Zekai Özver made the kick off in the second half. When the match clock showed 56 minutes, the score became 2-1 when Zekai Özver sped through Imperium's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Hivzija Fadilović. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Gerardo Oihan during the 70th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 70 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for NK ORAHOVICA! In the 76th minute, Živomir Gudelj hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Zvonimir Petranović made an important save on a dangerous shot by Romeo Diviković in the 77th minute. Nasrudin Janjiš could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 81st minute of the match, but Zvonimir Petranović made a huge save. After a rather tough play, NK ORAHOVICA's Šahzudin Nazirović got a free kick in the 94th minute. Zvonimir Petranović showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Muzafer Hasanović, who was totally free with the ball in the 96th minute. After 99th play minutes Muzafer Hasanović shot 2-2, a short shot which went by Zvonimir Petranović and just under the crossbar into goal. Jeers came from both ends of the stadium when the final whistle went. Neither team had looked impressive and the draw seeemd a fair result.
