Manuel Resch showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Chris Meißler in the 15th minute of the match. Timo Gehlen didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Belchior Monteiro went, in the 19th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. If Oliver Bleile had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 22nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Friebritz FSV's Timo Gehlen played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Custódio Abreu in the 26th minute of play. Timo Gehlen stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Belchior Monteiro's shot from short distance in the 31st minute. If Oliver Bleile had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 37th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 38 played minutes Friebritz FSV got a freekick which was hit by Matthias Jandura. After 39 minutes, Oliver Bleile made it 0-2 with a short kick to the right side. Friebritz FSV's Timo Gehlen tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. After a defensive mix-up in FC Pepsi Cola's zone, Chris Meißler stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Manuel Resch came out of the goal and Chris Meißler tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After the first half FC Pepsi Cola were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Custódio Abreu was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 52nd minute. FC Pepsi Cola's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. The tension between the FC Pepsi Cola and the Friebritz FSV players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 77 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for FC Pepsi Cola! Manuel Resch made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Leon Pürk in the 83rd minute of play. Belchior Monteiro's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Timo Gehlen firmly grabbed it by the left post. Belchior Monteiro could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 89th minute of the match, but Timo Gehlen made a huge save. 90 minutes into the game, Chris Meißler cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-4. Manuel Resch was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Gabriel Grevenbrock kicked well hit freekick during the 95th minute of the match. FC Pepsi Cola's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
