The mood of the audience was pleasant when Torsten Famler made the kick off which started today's match. Philipp Graf blasted a shot towards the goal in the 4th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Sascha Reichert having to make a save. Steffen Trautwein took the ball and in the 4 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Sascha Reichert. Sascha Reichert dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. Torsten Bär charged in rather forcefully in the 8th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Torsten Bär the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 8 played minutes Amassegg got a freekick which was hit by Torsten Bär. Sascha Reichert showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Philipp Graf in the 14th minute of the match. When Philipp Graf came up free with the goalie in the 15th minute, the SG Eintracht Frankfurt fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Philipp Graf couldn't finish the play. Steffen Trautwein received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 17th minute. Sascha Reichert tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The supporters of Amassegg booed when SG Eintracht Frankfurt was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 18 match minutes in a wonderful position. Arnold Pöck didn't get a good kick on the ball. Steffen Trautwein struck a weak shot in the 22nd minute. Sascha Reichert didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for SG Eintracht Frankfurt. 23 minutes into the game, one of SG Eintracht Frankfurt:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. The goalkeeper, Julien-Nils Weibler, was totally fooled by Amassegg's Kim Traintinger, who 25 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. If Philipp Graf had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 28th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to SG Eintracht Frankfurt getting a freekick after 31 minutes play. Willi Sperl hit a great ball. SG Eintracht Frankfurt's Julien-Nils Weibler played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Torsten Famler in the 32nd minute of play. Steffen Trautwein received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 36th minute. Sascha Reichert tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Marko Henze struck a weak shot in the 40th minute. When the match clock showed 42 minutes, the score became 2-2 when Philipp Graf sped through Amassegg's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Sascha Reichert. After some fancy dribbling in the 46th minute, Steffen Trautwein managed to get in a good position for a shot. SG Eintracht Frankfurt's supporters rose to their feet, but Steffen Trautwein was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Philipp Graf to make the kick off. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Dennis Mairitsch couldn't finish the play. Jonas Almer scored 2-5 in the 64th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Sascha Reichert, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. If Philipp Graf had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 68th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 70th minute, Steffen Trautwein got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Julien-Nils Weibler showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Torsten Bär in the 72nd minute of the match. In the 73rd minute, Dennis Daniels got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. SG Eintracht Frankfurt played a much better game than Amassegg and deserved their victory. The Amassegg players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
