Spectators: 5012 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 12) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Moritz Konig kicked off to start the match. In the 3rdth minute of the game Günter Nießen who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Katzendor's Felix Zantke was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Günter Nießen in the 8th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Felix Zantke saved Katzendor from getting behind. In the 9th match minute, Katzendor was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Maik Marchl to maneuver through the defense. The supporters of Griechenberg booed when Katzendor was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 14 match minutes in a wonderful position. Moritz Konig didn't get a good kick on the ball. Felix Zantke made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Günter Nießen in the 18th minute of play. Felix Zantke took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Patrick Appel, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Moritz Konig's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Wolfram Elias read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 26th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Katzendor's zone, Günter Nießen stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Felix Zantke came out of the goal and Günter Nießen tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 31st minute Günter Nießen shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Felix Zantke saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Katzendor's Felix Zantke played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Günter Nießen in the 36th minute of play. Günter Nießen sent away a hard shot on goal in the 39th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Günter Nießen scored 0-2 in the 40th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Felix Zantke, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Günter Nießen in the 47th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Felix Zantke prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After the first half Griechenberg were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Günter Nießen to strike the kick off in the second half. If Günter Nießen had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 51st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After having played for 56 minutes, Günter Nießen managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Griechenberg's supporters crossed their fingers, but Günter Nießen was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Daniel Czaika fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 60th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Felix Zantke having to interfere. Felix Zantke stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Günter Nießen's shot from short distance in the 61st minute. Günter Nießens short, quick shot in the 63rdth minute got Felix Zantke to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Felix Zantke made an important save on a dangerous shot by Patrick Appel in the 67th minute. Karl Diekelmann kicked well hit freekick during the 68th minute of the match. 72 minutes into the match, Griechenberg's Patrick Appel sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Felix Zantke narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Patrick Appel recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 74th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 75th minute, Daniel Czaika hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Wolfram Elias showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jonas-Marius Gerber in the 77th minute of the match. Ulrich-Jürgen Stiehl's late challenge caught a Griechenberg's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Ulrich-Jürgen Stiehl helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Griechenberg booed when Katzendor was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 78 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ulrich-Jürgen Stiehl didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 80 minutes, Julius Grentz mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Griechenberg and the Katzendor players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Katzendor booed when Griechenberg was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 80 match minutes in a wonderful position. Julius Grentz didn't get a good kick on the ball. 82 minutes into the game, Kilian Kirchberg cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-3. Felix Zantke was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After a defensive mix-up in Katzendor's zone, Günter Nießen stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Felix Zantke came out of the goal and Günter Nießen tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Günter Nießen in the 88thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Felix Zantke, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Patrick Appel struck a weak shot in the 89th minute. Felix Zantke didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Griechenberg. When the final whistle sounded Griechenberg left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Katzendor.
