After 33 minutes, Dennis-Sven Rauchbach mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Paulaner Team and the Hutte players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 33 played minutes Paulaner Team got a freekick which was hit by Dennis-Sven Rauchbach. If Simon Ballik had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 38th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Simon Balliks short, quick shot in the 42ndth minute got Ulrich-Jürgen Podolka to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. After a rather tough play, Hutte's Nikolaus Mühlenbruch got a free kick in the 44th minute. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

Ivo Hainl sent away a hard shot on goal in the 51st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 61st minute, Fabian Kamionka got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. With a little luck, Paulaner Team's Gregor Burschick got control of the ball when Ivo Hainl tried to sneak it across the goal line. Fabian Kamionka did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 0-1 to the left of a surprised Gregor Burschick 82 minutes into the match. Simon Ballik received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 89th minute. Ulrich-Jürgen Podolka tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 91st minute the ball was on its way in behind Paulaner Team's goalkeeper Gregor Burschick, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The Hutte players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
