After a rather tough play, ♣®♣ F.C. STEAUA BUC ♣®♣'s Tony Teerbau got a free kick in the 3rd minute. David Horsky came out of the goal in the 5th minute to try and stop a shot by Saak FC's Leon Fedde. But to his dismay, Leon Fedde quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. The audience was convinced that Chris Ehrlich's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but David Horsky was relentless in the 8th minute of the game. Karl-Heinz Marquardt charged in rather forcefully in the 9th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Karl-Heinz Marquardt the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of ♣®♣ F.C. STEAUA BUC ♣®♣ booed when Saak FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 9 match minutes in a wonderful position. Karl-Heinz Marquardt didn't get a good kick on the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 15th minute, Chris Ehrlich managed to get in a good position for a shot. Saak FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Chris Ehrlich was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. David Horsky breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 18th minute the ball was on its way in behind Saak FC's goalkeeper Adrian Roth, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 21st minute Leon Fedde shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but David Horsky saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Karl-Heinz Marquardt's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but David Horsky read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 22nd minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Karl-Heinz Marquardt in the 26th minute of play forced ♣®♣ F.C. STEAUA BUC ♣®♣'s goalkeeper David Horsky to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Joshua Herzog received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 27th minute. Adrian Roth tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 29thth minute of the game Karl-Heinz Marquardt who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but ♣®♣ F.C. STEAUA BUC ♣®♣'s David Horsky was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Adrian Roth made an important save on a dangerous shot by Joshua Herzog in the 31st minute. Joshua Herzog succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 1-1 in the 33rd playminute. David Horsky made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Karl-Heinz Marquardt in the 40th minute of play. In the 41st minute, Leon Fedde got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After having played for 43 minutes, Vincent Klaus managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. ♣®♣ F.C. STEAUA BUC ♣®♣'s supporters crossed their fingers, but Vincent Klaus was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal.

Leon Fedde received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 54th minute. David Horsky tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. David Horsky showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Leon Fedde, who was totally free with the ball in the 56th minute. Saak FC's Karl-Heinz Marquardt got a good chance for a goal in the 58th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Chris Ehrlich had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 60th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Joshua Herzog recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 66th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 69 minutes into the game, Nico Oelke was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. ♣®♣ F.C. STEAUA BUC ♣®♣'s manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Saak FC the free kick. In the 69th match minute, ♣®♣ F.C. STEAUA BUC ♣®♣ was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Nico Oelke to maneuver through the defense. Karl-Heinz Marquardt who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 75thth minute tested the skills of David Horsky when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Karl-Heinz Marquardt received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 76th minute. David Horsky tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Chris Ehrlich's late challenge caught a ♣®♣ F.C. STEAUA BUC ♣®♣'s player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Chris Ehrlich helped the player get up and apologised. Chris Ehrlich hit a great freekick 77 minutes into the match. In the 78th minute, Vincent Klaus got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. David Horsky made an important save on a dangerous shot by Karl-Heinz Marquardt in the 82nd minute. After 83 played minutes ♣®♣ F.C. STEAUA BUC ♣®♣ got a freekick which was hit by Nico Oelke. An unexpectedly hard shot by Leon Fedde in the 84th minute of play forced ♣®♣ F.C. STEAUA BUC ♣®♣'s goalkeeper David Horsky to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Nico Oelke got his second yellow card in the match during the 85th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. In the 86th match minute, ♣®♣ F.C. STEAUA BUC ♣®♣ was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Nico Oelke to maneuver through the defense. David Horsky was a little too slow when Leon Fedde got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 87th minute. The score was now 1-2. The audience thought a goal was coming when Karl-Heinz Marquardt got free with David Horsky in the 91st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Saak FC's Leon Fedde got a good chance for a goal in the 95th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The Saak FC supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Saak FC would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
