After 7 played minutes Hucking got a freekick which was hit by Robert Linden. Andreas Scharf made a fantastic save in the 8th minute, when Bastian Nuth sent off a good shot on target. 15 minutes into the match, Steffen Burgstaller had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Andreas Scharf. Hucking's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Steffen Burgstaller was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. Robin Gaertner kicked well hit freekick during the 18th minute of the match. Steffen Burgstaller received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 21st minute. FC Nikdan's supporters crossed their fingers, but Bastian Nuth was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Herbert Lehmann's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Andreas Scharf read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 48th minute of play. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

If Sven Görlitz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 64th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. FC Nikdan had won after a very even match.
