Spectators: 7706 (Terracing: 5781, Seating: 1772, VIP seats: 153) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Karl-Heinz Stallberg took the kick off in the first half of the match. 8 minutes into the match, ERÇELSPOR's goalkeeper Peter Weiser had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Marius Mangelmann. After some fancy dribbling in the 12th minute, Frederik Klopp managed to get in a good position for a shot. ERÇELSPOR's supporters rose to their feet, but Frederik Klopp was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jan-Niclas Ernst breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 14th minute Frederik Klopp shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jan-Niclas Ernst saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Frederik Klopp in the 17th minute of play forced Obervermunt FC's goalkeeper Jan-Niclas Ernst to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Jan-Niclas Ernst showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Frederik Klopp, who was totally free with the ball in the 19th minute. In the 20th minute, Marius Mangelmann made a precise shot to the right of Peter Weiser. ERÇELSPOR's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-0. After 25 played minutes Obervermunt FC got a freekick which was hit by Norman Pausch. Henning Muller was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 25th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. After a rather tough play, Obervermunt FC's Peter Fechter got a free kick in the 27th minute. Marius Mangelmann received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 29th minute. Peter Weiser tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 31st match minute, ERÇELSPOR was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Sven Kamme to maneuver through the defense. Obervermunt FC's Marius Mangelmann got a good chance for a goal in the 32nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 35th minute, Frederik Klopp got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Frederik Klopp had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 37th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Marius Mangelmann received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 44th minute. Peter Weiser tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Marius Mangelmann fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 46th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Peter Weiser having to interfere. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

In the 51st minute, Mats Hädicke hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. ERÇELSPOR's Peter Weiser played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Karl-Heinz Stallberg in the 57th minute of play. In the 58th minute, Marius Mangelmann ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Peter Weiser was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-0. Karl-Heinz Stallberg received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 63rd minute. Peter Weiser tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After having played for 66 minutes, Marius Mangelmann managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Obervermunt FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Marius Mangelmann was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Peter Weiser stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Marius Mangelmann's shot from short distance in the 70th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 74th minute, Frederik Klopp managed to get in a good position for a shot. ERÇELSPOR's supporters rose to their feet, but Frederik Klopp was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jan-Niclas Ernst breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Marius Mangelmann had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 79th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Simon Unterberger received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 81st minute. Jan-Niclas Ernst tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Obervermunt FC fans cheered their team off the field, for while ERÇELSPOR had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
