Ralf Krug who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 12thth minute tested the skills of Peter Weiser when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Josef Mende showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Simon Unterberger in the 13th minute of the match. Josef Mende showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Simon Unterberger, who was totally free with the ball in the 15th minute. 16 minutes into the match, Ralf Krug had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Peter Weiser. ERÇELSPOR's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Ralf Krug was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. ERÇELSPOR's Justus Kirchler pulled a muscle in his back after 34 minutes and couldn't finish the game. Ralf Krug's late challenge caught a ERÇELSPOR's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Ralf Krug helped the player get up and apologised. In the 35th match minute, FC Barcelona was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ralf Krug to maneuver through the defense. When Elias Beyersdorf fell near the penalty area in the 39th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored FC Barcelona's protests and gave Elias Beyersdorf a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to FC Barcelona getting a freekick after 39 minutes play. Elias Beyersdorf hit a great ball. Bastian Kraft recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 43rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Björn Kreusch kicked well hit freekick during the 44th minute of the match. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-1 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Olli Grassow was the one to do the kick off. Josef Mende was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Simon Unterberger showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 2-2 in the 54 minute of play. Through an outstanding action, after 58 minutes, Josef Mende successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. FC Barcelona's Ralf Krug got a good chance for a goal in the 60th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 67 played minutes ERÇELSPOR got a freekick which was hit by Simon Unterberger. 77 minutes into the game, Jens Vonderlin was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. FC Barcelona's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave ERÇELSPOR the free kick. After 77 played minutes FC Barcelona got a freekick which was hit by Jens Vonderlin. Peter Weiser took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Elias Beyersdorf, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Björn Kreusch had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 85th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ralf Krug succeeded in the game's 89th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 5-2. Niklas Kludig hit a great freekick 93 minutes into the match. Peter Weiser didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Ralf Krug went, in the 95th minute, to the upper right corner, 6-2 was the resulting score. FC Barcelona's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
