In the 33rd match minute, Eierspeis17 was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Maximilian-Michael Graf to maneuver through the defense. When Benjamin Fischer fell near the penalty area in the 41st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Eierspeis17's protests and gave Benjamin Fischer a yellow card for diving instead. Benjamin Fischer kicked well hit freekick during the 41st minute of the match. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Benjamin Fischer made a kick off. 53 minutes into the match, Rudolf Kruppke had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Fabian Drude. Eierspeis17's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Rudolf Kruppke was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. In the 59th match minute, Eierspeis17 was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Julius Lazu to maneuver through the defense. Jan-Felix Gartler made an important save on a dangerous shot by Maximilian-Michael Graf in the 68th minute. If Rudolf Kruppke had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 70th minute. If Maximilian-Michael Graf had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 81st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The SK Rapid Wien support was delighted with a win in a match that could easily have ended differently.
