The audience was convinced that Joel-Benjamin Scherhag's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Lars Setzinger was relentless in the 19th minute of the game. After a rather tough play, Liedtberg FC's Manuel Schönenberger got a free kick in the 20th minute. Lars Setzinger made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Joel-Benjamin Scherhag in the 22nd minute of play. Gregor Broich could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 27th minute of the match, but Jörn von Halem made a huge save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Joel-Benjamin Scherhag in the 30th minute of play forced Liedtberg FC's goalkeeper Lars Setzinger to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Joel-Benjamin Scherhag in the 36th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Lars Setzinger prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Joel-Benjamin Scherhag might have been able to make a better finish in the 38th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Lars Setzinger. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Joel-Benjamin Scherhag ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 42nd minute, Joel-Benjamin Scherhag got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The corner ended in Marco Schultheiss almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Fc Leihmannsdorf's Jörn von Halem did a great save. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Jens-Uwe Sauter to make the kick off. After 56 played minutes Liedtberg FC got a freekick which was hit by Manuel Schönenberger. In the 57th minute, Daniel Krupp sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Liedtberg FC's Lars Setzinger didn't even have to move. Joel-Benjamin Scherhag sent away a hard shot on goal in the 59th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a defensive mix-up in Liedtberg FC's zone, Maximilian Linhorst stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Lars Setzinger came out of the goal and Maximilian Linhorst tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Maximilian Linhorst blasted a shot towards the goal in the 63rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Lars Setzinger having to make a save. When Fc Leihmannsdorf's Joel-Benjamin Scherhag in the 64th minute got a chance for a shot 64th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Liedtberg FC's goalie prevented a goal. Gregor Broich fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 66th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jörn von Halem having to interfere. Lars Setzinger showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Joel-Benjamin Scherhag, who was totally free with the ball in the 70th minute. If Joel-Benjamin Scherhag had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 72nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 77 minutes into the match, Gregor Broich notched a goal, 1-0, to the right of Fc Leihmannsdorf's Jörn von Halem. Jörn von Halem was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Jens-Uwe Sauter in the 80th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Jörn von Halem saved Fc Leihmannsdorf from getting behind. In the 83rd minute, Norman Zimmermann hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Lars Setzinger was out of position in the 84 minute of play, and Maximilian Linhorst capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Maximilian Linhorst really showed his touch with that goal: 1-1. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Joel-Benjamin Scherhag in the 92nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Lars Setzinger saved Liedtberg FC from getting behind. Jens-Uwe Sauter recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 93rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The Fc Leihmannsdorf players were the happier at the end of the match as they had prevented Liedtberg FC from taking control. The game ends in a draw.
