After some fancy dribbling in the 3rd minute, Hans-Peter Aufhauser managed to get in a good position for a shot. Peter Schütt blasted a shot towards the goal in the 14th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Mirko Winnerl having to make a save. If Hans-Peter Aufhauser had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 17th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Peter Schütt sent away a hard shot on goal in the 22nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Frederik Grunewald showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Harald Hackert, who was totally free with the ball in the 42nd minute.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Alex Breitenbacher made a kick off. After a defensive mix-up in SV Mauerkirchen's zone, Peter Schütt stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Mirko Winnerl came out of the goal and Peter Schütt tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 58 minutes into the match, SV Mauerkirchen's goal looked a bit too open when Peter Schütt came free, but Mirko Winnerl reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. SV Mauerkirchen's Mirko Winnerl proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 67th minute of the match, managed to save SV Mauerkirchen from getting a goal against them. Mirko Winnerl made a fantastic save in the 68th minute, when Michael Bosch sent off a good shot on target. Frederik Grunewald made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alex Breitenbacher in the 70th minute of play. Through an outstanding action, after 72 minutes, Mirko Winnerl successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. In the 74th match minute, Nitzling was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jonas Weber to maneuver through the defense. In the 75th minute of the match Michel Rühmann sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Frederik Grunewald skillfully saved the ball. When Nitzling's Peter Schütt in the 78th minute got a chance for a shot 78th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye SV Mauerkirchen's goalie prevented a goal. Peter Schütt's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Mirko Winnerl read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 86th minute of play. With an all-out effort, Nitzling's Mirko Winnerl threw himself towards the right post 88 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Peter Schütt, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. With a little luck, SV Mauerkirchen's Mirko Winnerl got control of the ball when Michael Bosch tried to sneak it across the goal line.
