In the 16th minute Eugen Fritsche shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alberigo Prato saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 22 minutes FC Ronaldo's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Leon Barten who took care of the corner kick. The corner ended in Leon Barten almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but FC Ronaldo's Mikolaj Czerwinski did a great save. Ramy Moheb hit a great freekick 23 minutes into the match. After some careless play in the Anzenberg defense, Ruben Keuken kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Alberigo Prato. The Anzenberg fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Alberigo Prato should have stopped the shot. Anzenberg's Xamo Moreira got a good chance for a goal in the 35th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Rafik Mekhloufi's late challenge caught a FC Ronaldo's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Rafik Mekhloufi helped the player get up and apologised. Rafik Mekhloufi kicked well hit freekick during the 39th minute of the match. With a little luck, FC Ronaldo's Mikolaj Czerwinski got control of the ball when Xamo Moreira tried to sneak it across the goal line. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.
