Frederik Wankum was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 2nd minute. Rappersdorf FSV's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. In the 4th minute, Alex Zingler hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. SK Gala 1905's Benjamin Weisbrod got a good chance for a goal in the 16th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 20th minute, Justus Luchtenberg ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Niclas Kuhl was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. If Gregorio Montez had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 24th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 35 minutes into the match, André Durr had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Niclas Kuhl. Rappersdorf FSV's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that André Durr was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-3. When SK Gala 1905's Justus Luchtenberg in the 41st minute got a chance for a shot 41st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Rappersdorf FSV's goalie prevented a goal. Justus Luchtenberg scored 0-4 in the 44th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Niclas Kuhl, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After the first half SK Gala 1905 were leading 0-4. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Gregorio Montez was the one to do the kick off. The audience was convinced that Gregorio Montez's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Falko Ondraczek was relentless in the 51st minute of the game. In the 58th minute André Durr shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Niclas Kuhl saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Alex Zingler sent away a hard shot on goal in the 60th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Kilian Herzog took the ball and in the 61 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Falko Ondraczek. Falko Ondraczek dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-4. Frederik Wankum received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 66th minute. Falko Ondraczek tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Falko Ondraczek showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gregorio Montez in the 69th minute of the match. In the 73rd minute of the match Rappersdorf FSV got a corner. SK Gala 1905's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Gregorio Montez ran over to the corner to take the kick. After taking down the ball on Rappersdorf FSV's corner Gregorio Montez fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Falko Ondraczek quite easily take care of the ball. Rappersdorf FSV's Niclas Kuhl played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Benjamin Weisbrod in the 80th minute of play. A collision led to Rappersdorf FSV getting a freekick after 81 minutes play. Werner Nitsche hit a great ball. In the 85th minute, Gregorio Montez made a precise shot to the right of Falko Ondraczek. SK Gala 1905's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-4. 90 minutes into the game, Norman Fischer was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. SK Gala 1905's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Rappersdorf FSV the free kick. A collision led to SK Gala 1905 getting a freekick after 92 minutes play. Norman Fischer hit a great ball. SK Gala 1905's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
