The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. 8 minutes into the match, Barnetby Le Wold's Miguel Dikaté sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Simão Serineu narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Tubarões CF's Afonso Jacaré got a good chance for a goal in the 11th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Toni Boal could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 15th minute of the match, but Simão Serineu made a huge save. Tubarões CF's Simão Serineu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Toni Boal in the 27th minute of play. In the 28th minute Emílio Lentilha shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Simão Serineu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Alão Fontão had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 30th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The audience was convinced that Alão Fontão's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Afonso Dos Santos was relentless in the 33rd minute of the game. Barnetby Le Wold's Miguel Dikaté managed to work through Tubarões CF's defense and was going for an easy goal, but he hit the shot with his toe and the ball flew outside the goal. Miguel Dikaté dejectedly held out his arms as if to ask why the ball hadn't gone in. Simão Serineu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Miguel Dikaté, who was totally free with the ball in the 38th minute. 43 minutes into the match, Miguel Dikaté dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Simão Serineu, 1-0. The supporters of Barnetby Le Wold booed when Tubarões CF was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 46 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jorge Lando didn't get a good kick on the ball.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Miguel Dikaté to strike the kick off in the second half. Toni Boal recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 53rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When Barnetby Le Wold's Miguel Dikaté in the 60th minute got a chance for a shot 60th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Tubarões CF's goalie prevented a goal. When Custódio Sampaio fell near the penalty area in the 70th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Tubarões CF's protests and gave Custódio Sampaio a yellow card for diving instead. Nito De Matos kicked well hit freekick during the 75th minute of the match. Toni Boal sent away a hard shot on goal in the 77th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After some careless play in the Tubarões CF defense, Miguel Dikaté kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Simão Serineu. The Tubarões CF fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Simão Serineu should have stopped the shot. In the 84th minute, Nito De Matos hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Simão Serineu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Miguel Dikaté, who was totally free with the ball in the 87th minute. If Alão Fontão had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 89th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Miguel Dikaté in the 93rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Simão Serineu prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 97th minute the ball was on its way in behind Tubarões CF's goalkeeper Simão Serineu, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Barnetby Le Wold walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
