Spectators: 9225 (Terracing: 6920, Seating: 2122, VIP seats: 183) Whittlesey FC's Rolando Fernandes Braga started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. The crowd rose to their feet as Whittlesey FC's Rolando Fernandes Braga slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Edmundo Areosa. That made the score 1-0 after 4 minutes of play. The audience was convinced that Rolando Fernandes Braga's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Edmundo Areosa was relentless in the 9th minute of the game. Edmundo Areosa made a fantastic save in the 20th minute, when Jorge Apalanga sent off a good shot on target. Edmundo Areosa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rolando Fernandes Braga in the 21st minute of play. Fábio Ganete recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 25th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Carlos Lando kicked well hit freekick during the 26th minute of the match. Hector Dikaté showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Pompílio Serineu, who was totally free with the ball in the 32nd minute. In the 34th minute, Pompílio Serineu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Os Intocaveis's Edmundo Areosa proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 37th minute of the match, managed to save Os Intocaveis from getting a goal against them. If Rogério Regalado had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 41st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Edmundo Areosa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rolando Fernandes Braga in the 46th minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Rolando Fernandes Braga in the 47th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Edmundo Areosa prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Gregório Maurito to make the kick off. After 51 played minutes, Whittlesey FC's Custódio Montinho shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Edmundo Areosa came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Whittlesey FC reached it. A collision led to Os Intocaveis getting a freekick after 52 minutes play. Henrique Meneses hit a great ball. Rolando Fernandes Braga fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 53rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Edmundo Areosa having to interfere. If Rolando Fernandes Braga had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 55th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 58 minutes into the match, Os Intocaveis's goal looked a bit too open when Rolando Fernandes Braga came free, but Edmundo Areosa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The Whittlesey FC fans' excitement grew in the 62nd match minute when Whittlesey FC's Rolando Fernandes Braga looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 2-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Rolando Fernandes Braga in the 67th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Edmundo Areosa saved Os Intocaveis from getting behind. In the 68th minute, Flavio Canales got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Rolando Fernandes Braga in the 71st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Edmundo Areosa saved Os Intocaveis from getting behind. In the 72nd minute, Rolando Fernandes Braga left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Whittlesey FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-0. 77 minutes into the game, Marílio Ermida was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Whittlesey FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Os Intocaveis the free kick. After a rather tough play, Whittlesey FC's Marílio Ermida got a free kick in the 77th minute. Hector Dikaté made a fantastic save in the 79th minute, when Camilo Tenória sent off a good shot on target. Jorge Apalanga fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 82nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Edmundo Areosa having to interfere. After 85 played minutes Whittlesey FC got a freekick which was hit by Ailton Sá. Edmundo Areosa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Custódio Duarte in the 88th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Flavio Canales in the 95th minute of play forced Os Intocaveis's goalkeeper Edmundo Areosa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When the referee ended the match the Whittlesey FC players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
