The Clayton-le-Moors fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. When Hipólito Rochedo fell near the penalty area in the 19th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Clayton-le-Moors's protests and gave Hipólito Rochedo a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Clayton-le-Moors's Hipólito Rochedo got a free kick in the 20th minute. Ambrósio Jaka Jamba made a fantastic save in the 26th minute, when Damaso Aznaro sent off a good shot on target. The audience was convinced that Feliks Ryback's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Ambrósio Jaka Jamba was relentless in the 28th minute of the game. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-1 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Henrique Galão to strike the kick off in the second half. Thanks to some nice moves Rodrigo Nascimento could shoot a difficult shot in the 61st minute, which Tiago Boal however easily saved by the left post. In the 64th minute, Feliks Ryback ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Ambrósio Jaka Jamba was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-1. Magno Novais kicked well hit freekick during the 68th minute of the match. The audience was convinced that Feliks Ryback's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Ambrósio Jaka Jamba was relentless in the 72nd minute of the game. After 74 minutes Clayton-le-Moors's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Emirares Nascimento who took care of the corner kick. The audience thought a goal was coming when Rodrigo Nascimento got free with Tiago Boal in the 79th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 82 minutes into the match, Clayton-le-Moors's goal looked a bit too open when Damaso Aznaro came free, but Ambrósio Jaka Jamba reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Gregório Ramos hit a great freekick 84 minutes into the match. Clayton-le-Moors's Rodrigo Nascimento got a good chance for a goal in the 85th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 95 played minutes Wells FC got a freekick which was hit by Hector Jacinto. In the 96th minute, Hipólito Rochedo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The Wells FC support was delighted with a win in a match that could easily have ended differently.
