Spectators: 8622 (Terracing: 6450, Seating: 2000, VIP seats: 172) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Fábio Pedrosa started the match with the kick off. Futebol Clube do Porto's Afonso Almedia played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Evaristo Pegacho in the 4th minute of play. Rodrigo Ganete charged in rather forcefully in the 5th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Rodrigo Ganete the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Prudhoe's Rodrigo Ganete got a free kick in the 5th minute. Fábio Pedrosa sent away a hard shot on goal in the 16th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 19th minute Edmundo Barreiros shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Afonso Almedia saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Afonso Almedia showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Evaristo Pegacho, who was totally free with the ball in the 20th minute. After 23 minutes, Hector Moco mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Futebol Clube do Porto and the Prudhoe players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 23rd match minute, Futebol Clube do Porto was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Hector Moco to maneuver through the defense. In the 24th minute, Prudhoe's Evaristo Pegacho dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-0. Gregório Dikaté showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jorge Quilempan, who was totally free with the ball in the 28th minute. In the 31st minute, Manuel Dos Santos hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. During the 33rd minute of the match Hector Moco completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Hector Moco a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. In the 33rd match minute, Futebol Clube do Porto was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Hector Moco to maneuver through the defense. In the last second Afonso Almedia throw himself and got hold of the ball when Evaristo Pegacho in the 38thth minute from his position got away a shot towards the right post. The crowd rose to their feet as Evaristo Pegacho kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Afonso Almedia. That made the score 2-0 in the 41 minute of play. 46 minutes into the match, Futebol Clube do Porto's goal looked a bit too open when Edmundo Barreiros came free, but Afonso Almedia reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Futebol Clube do Porto's Manuel Dos Santos in the 47th minute got a chance for a shot 47th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Prudhoe's goalie prevented a goal. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

Afonso Almedia stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Evaristo Pegacho's shot from short distance in the 58th minute. Afonso Almedia took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rolando Bouça, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 61 played minutes Futebol Clube do Porto got a freekick which was hit by Hernani Ezequiel Niz. 71 minutes into the match, Futebol Clube do Porto's goal looked a bit too open when Evaristo Pegacho came free, but Afonso Almedia reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With a little luck, Prudhoe's Gregório Dikaté got control of the ball when Manuel Dos Santos tried to sneak it across the goal line. Evaristo Pegacho received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 79th minute. Afonso Almedia tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Afonso Almedia took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rolando Bouça, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When the match clock showed 82 minutes, the score became 2-2 when Manuel Dos Santos sped through Prudhoe's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Gregório Dikaté. Afonso Almedia made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rolando Bouça in the 86th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Futebol Clube do Porto's zone, Rodrigo Ganete stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Afonso Almedia came out of the goal and Rodrigo Ganete tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 89 minutes into the game, one of Futebol Clube do Porto:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. In the 90th minute there was a penalty for Prudhoe. Hortêncio Ezequiel Niz stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Afonso Almedia. 3-2. Manuel Dos Santos received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 94th minute. Gregório Dikaté tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 95th minute, Rodrigo Ganete hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Prudhoe fully deserved thier win.
