Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Hernani Matta tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 17 minutes into the game, Flavio Clérigo recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Hernani Matta. Flavio Clérigo showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Flavio Clérigo in the 20th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Hernani Matta saved Lost at Sea from getting behind. With his leg Hernani Matta managed to avoid a goal in the 25thth minute, when FC VALENTES's Flavio Clérigo fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. FC VALENTES's Flavio Clérigo got a good chance for a goal in the 38th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When Nito Canales came up free with the goalie in the 41st minute, the FC VALENTES fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Nito Canales couldn't finish the play. Flavio Clérigo's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 43rdth minute, Hernani Matta skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Zé Guedes's late challenge caught a Lost at Sea's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Zé Guedes helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Lost at Sea booed when FC VALENTES was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 46 match minutes in a wonderful position. Zé Guedes didn't get a good kick on the ball. After having played for 47 minutes, Flavio Clérigo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. FC VALENTES's supporters crossed their fingers, but Flavio Clérigo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Lourenço Amado to make the kick off. In the 52nd minute Zé Guedes shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hernani Matta saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Lost at Sea's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 5-0. Sebastián Jacaré received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 69th minute. In the 70th minute, Luís Cunha hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 73 played minutes Lost at Sea got a freekick which was hit by Lourenço Amado. After 76 minutes, Marílio Sampaio mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Lost at Sea and the FC VALENTES players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Lost at Sea's Marílio Sampaio got a free kick in the 77th minute. When the match clock showed 78 minutes, the score became 6-0 when Flavio Clérigo sped through Lost at Sea's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Hernani Matta. In the 81stth minute of the game Flavio Clérigo who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Lost at Sea's Hernani Matta was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Flavio Clérigo in the 83rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Hernani Matta saved Lost at Sea from getting behind. In the 86th minute, Flavio Clérigo ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Hernani Matta was frozen by the shot and now it was 7-0. After a defensive mix-up in Lost at Sea's zone, Sebastián Jacaré stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Hernani Matta came out of the goal and Sebastián Jacaré tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Hernani Matta showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Flavio Clérigo in the 96th minute of the match.
