The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. If Leonard Prenga had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 5th minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Leonard Prenga in the 18th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Fotaq Budi saved Kuçova SK from getting behind. If Zenel Papa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 19th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Leonard Prenga fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 20th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fotaq Budi having to interfere. 23 minutes into the match, Kuçova SK's goal looked a bit too open when Leonard Prenga came free, but Fotaq Budi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Fotaq Budi made a fantastic save in the 24th minute, when Zenel Papa sent off a good shot on target. Leonard Prenga recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 25th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. With an all-out effort, Aliko KF's Fotaq Budi threw himself towards the right post 27 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Leonard Prenga, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Through an outstanding action, after 29 minutes, Fotaq Budi successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. In the 31st minute Perlat Bogdani shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Namik Pajo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 40th minute the ball was on its way in behind Kuçova SK's goalkeeper Fotaq Budi, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Zenel Papa could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 43rd minute of the match, but Fotaq Budi made a huge save. Kuçova SK's Fotaq Budi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Leonard Prenga in the 45th minute of play. Aliko KF's Leonard Prenga got a good chance for a goal in the 46th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Zenel Papa received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 48th minute. Fotaq Budi tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Edvin Mala made a kick off. Fotaq Budi showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Zenel Papa, who was totally free with the ball in the 54th minute. Fotaq Budi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Zenel Papa in the 57th minute of play. A collision led to Kuçova SK getting a freekick after 57 minutes play. Muharem Zhegu hit a great ball. The Aliko KF fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-0.
